What insurance plans does Dr. McGuigan accept?
I accept Aetna, Geisinger, United Healthcare, and Student Resources insurance plans. Please contact the phone number on the back of your health insurance card to learn more about your specific plan’s copay for therapy sessions!
Does Dr. McGuigan offer evaluations, such as autism or ADHD testing?
No, I unfortunately do not offer psychological testing or any assessment services, but I can help you find providers who do provide assessment. However, I’m very passionate about working with individuals in therapy who are currently seeking psychological testing and/or suspect they may have neurodivergent conditions!
How can I schedule a therapy session with Dr. McGuigan?
- Please email me at lauramcguiganpsyd@gmail.com. In your email, please include:
- Your health insurance plan (Aetna, United, etc.)
- Your availability for a regularly weekly scheduled appointment time between Monday and Thursday
- A brief description of your current concerns
- I will respond to your email and we will coordinate a good time for a 20-30 minute phone consultation. During this call, we will explore if we are a good fit to work together depending on your current concerns and hopes for therapy.
